Edward and Murray breaks the 5km World Record

Julie Edward and Eric Murray have both posted world records when tested over 5km at the recent trials. 

Julie posted 18:15.2 and broke the old world record 19-29 for female lightweights. 

Eric posted a time of 14:56.4 (with the use of sliders) in the heavy weight mens division.

Fantastic final day at Chungju

30'000 spectators packed the grandstands at the Tangeum International Rowing Regatta venue in Chungju, Korea today. The total number of spectators for the eight days was a record 157'000. The final day of eight days of racing came to a close and a total of 27 World Championship titles were awarded at the 2013 World Rowing Championships.
