The 2012 Samsung World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland turned to the semifinal round as crews continued to be narrowed down to the all-important finals. Today on the Rotsee regatta course the day began with barely a breath of wind under sunny skies. A tail wind picked up as the race day continued, but they remained slight.

The importance of this regatta in the lead up to the 2012 London Olympic Games was obvious as crews sized up their competition on the Rotsee regatta course.
